through my courses and experience within design, i have learned to appreciate and balance the creativity and rigidity that graphic design requires. designing is an iterative process, adding and subtracting through multiple rounds based on feedback. during my experiences, i’ve also learned to love this work, making changes and slowly seeing the design get stronger before reaching a refined final product.
during my process, i value accessibility and cleanliness in design, finding a balance between elements in order to communicate a design solution that the viewer can easily understand. by thinking ahead and designing based on the audiences' needs, their interaction with my work becomes more intuitive.however, through my latter projects, i have also begun practicing experimentation in my designs: embracing my style, but pushing myself to see where the process takes me.
